Nestled within a meticulously restored 19th-century palazzo in Bari's elegant Murattiano district, Villa Tramonto Adriatico is a love letter to Puglia. Originally built in 1887 as the private residence of the Montefusco noble family, its soaring ceilings, handpainted Vietri tiles, and sun-drenched loggias have been transformed into one of southern Italy's most intimate luxury retreats.

Every stone, every fresco, every fold of hand-embroidered linen tells a story of this ancient land — a place where the sea turns gold at dusk and dinner lasts until midnight.

Our family restaurant, La Tavola del Marchese, celebrates the unmatched richness of Puglian cuisine. Executive Chef Ginevra Caruso sources every ingredient within 50 km — from burrata made at dawn in Andria to orecchiette rolled by hand each morning in our kitchen.

Open to hotel guests and Bari's discerning locals alike, the restaurant seats 60 beneath original stone arches and features a wine list of over 200 Apulian labels.

Tucked behind the palazzo's ancient walls lies our secret garden — a secluded, fragrant sanctuary of jasmine, lemon trees, and climbing bougainvillea. The garden seats just 20 guests and is reserved exclusively for hotel guests seeking a quiet afternoon in the shade of 200-year-old stone pines.

Aperitivo is served in the garden each evening at sunset — a Negroni, perhaps, or a glass of cold Fiano di Avellino.
